Jerome Boateng to leave Bayern Munich?
One of the players set to dominate discussions in the final days of the summer transfer window is Jerome Boateng.
The German international seems to be on the way out of Bayern Munich.
Reports claiming Boateng may leave the Allianz Arena have been around for a while.
Boateng, 29, has been on the books of the Bavarian giants since 2011. However last season he missed a large chunk of the campaign through injury.
Manchester United vs Arsenal
On Sunday night, Bild confirmed that Manchester United have opened talks to try to sign Boateng.
It’s believed the centre-half would command a 50 million euro price tag.

At the same time, reports on Monday morning claim that Everton have beaten Man United to sign Yerry Mina from Barcelona.
However Man United’s chase for Boateng is not a one-horse race.
Germany’s Kicker have reported on Monday morning that Arsenal are also interested in signing Boateng.
Arsenal have already signed a couple of defenders this summer. Stephan Lichtsteiner joined for free from Juventus, while Sokratis Papastathopoulos signed on from Borussia Dortmund.
And to complicate matters further, Kicker also name PSG as a possible suitor for the Bayern centre-back.
