Thomas Tuchel ‘signs’ PSG deal
It’s done, according to German news outlet Sportbuzzer.
They’ve confirmed on Monday that Thomas Tuchel has agreed and signed a two year deal with PSG.
Tuchel will take over the reigns in Paris at the end of the season, as Unai Emery leaves the club. The 44-year-old has signed a two year deal with an option for a third year.
Arsenal & Chelsea
Tuchel had been linked to Arsenal and Chelsea in recent months.
What’s clear is that he’ll not be coming to the Premier League.
But what will happen to the London clubs?
According to Sam Wallace, the Telegraph’s Chief Football Writer, Arsene Wenger is poised to leave Arsenal at the end of the season.
Wallace made his key statement in the context of discussing Arsenal’s 3-2 win over Southampton on Sunday in the Premier League, and Arsenal’s hopes of winning the Europa League.
According to Wallace, Wenger is set to end his Arsenal reign at the end of the season:
Arsenal need to win (the Europa League). Atletico Madrid are the other big fish left in it.
It would be a good way for (Wenger) to go out. I think the chances are he will leave this summer, and what a way to go winning a European trophy. It’s the one thing (Wenger) hasn’t done at Arsenal.
For the record Wenger is under contract at Arsenal until the end of next season.
As for Antonio Conte and Chelsea, rumours have sprung up on Monday claiming the Italian has been sacked.
Those reports have since been rubbished on social media by people far closer to the Blues.
The Chelsea board have decided to sack Antonio Conte with immediate effect. #CFC

Antonio Conte isn't going anywhere today, Monday 9th April (small trip to corner shop possibly excepted). Unsourced rumours to the contrary are no more than social media mischief.
