Arsenal’s Ivan Gazidis & AC Milan
Is a resolution to this saga close?
Arsenal fans will no-doubt have read reports in recent months linking Ivan Gazidis to AC Milan.
Gazidis is in limbo at Arsenal following an approach from AC Milan in the summer.
Milan want Gazidis to swap the Emirates for the San Siro. As recently reported in the Times:
The chief executive informed Arsenal’s board last month that he has received an offer to join AC Milan, who were taken over this summer by a hedge fund run by his friend Paul Singer, but has yet to give them his final decision.
Arsenal denied rumours that were circulating last week that Gazidis had formally given notice and the ongoing uncertainty is beginning to frustrate staff at the highest level of the club.
Milan’s move for Gazidis is back on
On Wednesday, a significant update in the Gazidis story is provided by Gazzetta dello Sport.
The famous Italian pink paper claim that Gazidis is close to agreeing a deal with Milan.
The sticking point is money. It’s now believed that Milan are ready to pay Gazidis what he’s been asking for.
GdS lavish praise on Gazidis calling him a “magician of accounts”.

But will Arsenal allow Gazidis to smoothly switch to the San Siro?
The Times have previously suggested that Arsenal could make Gazidis sweat before joining the Rossoneri.
The broadsheet has previously claimed that Arsenal may put Gazidis on ‘gardening leave’ as he has a 12-month notice period in his Gunners contract.
