Baba Rahman to be farmed out
Things really haven’t worked out for Baba Rahman at Chelsea.
The Ghanaian full back joined from Augsburg last season, in a 14 million pound pound.
It was hoped Rahman would be able to slot into a left-back role for the Blues, however he struggled to impress in a difficult first season at Stamford Bridge.
Many Chelsea fans accused Baba Rahman of not being good enough for the club during their wretched 2015-16 season.
News on Saturday night suggests new manager Antonio Conte is also unimpressed with the Chelsea defender, as Sky Germany report Baba Rahman is returning to the Bundesliga.
Schalke to sign
According to Sky Germany, Baba Rahman is join Schalke on a season long loan.
That could be an excellent move for the 22-year-old, who would get an opportunity to build back his confidence in a familiar league.
For the record, Baba Rahman signed a five year deal when he joined Chelsea.
