Man United, Chelsea & Arsenal
With less than ten days remaining in the summer transfer window, AS Monaco are now set to go on the assault.
That’s according to RMC Sport journalist Loic Tanzi, who has claimed that Monaco have three top Premier League stars on their shopping list.
It’s been something of a traumatic summer for the Ligue 1 champs.
Monaco’s brilliant young squad from 2016-17 has been dismantled over the summer, and it’s not over yet.
If the rumours are true, Kylian Mbappe is poised to leave Monaco to join PSG.
Elsewhere, Tiemoue Bakayoko is now at Chelsea while Bernardo Silva and Benjamin Mendy are at Man City.
But, with plenty of cash in the bank, it’s now claimed that Monaco are targeting Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez, Chelsea’s Diego Costa and Man United’s Anthony Martial.
Sanchez, Costa & Martial
According to Loic Tanzi, Monaco have enquired with Arsenal, Chelsea and Man United about their respective stars.
But will any of the deals happen? That feels unlikely.
Alexis Sanchez seems poised to remain at Arsenal this season, while he’ll be a free agent in twelve months time.
Diego Costa has made it clear he’ll only leave Chelsea to join Atletico Madrid.
As for Anthony Martial, the former Monaco striker seems committed to Man United. Indeed, he’s scored goals in back to back games against West Ham and Swansea.

Monaco’s other target
Should Monaco miss out on their three Premier League targets, they have a plan B.
That’s to turn to Ajax to try to sign Kasper Dolberg instead.
19-year-old Dolberg is one of the brightest strikers coming through the ranks in Europe. Last season he scored 16 goals and chipped in with six assists for Ajax in the Dutch top flight.
