The agent of SSC Napoli attacker Victor Osimhen has, on Friday, provided his response to recent speculation linking his client with a potential Premier League switch.
For those not aware, reports pointing towards the possibility of Nigerian international Osimhen taking his talents to Old Trafford reemerged in the media over the course of the last 24 hours.
This of course comes with Erik ten Hag and co. still on the lookout for reinforcements in the final third, ahead of next week’s transfer deadline.
In turn, it was suggested that Napoli’s star hitman could be involved in a big-money exchange deal of sorts, to land in Manchester over the course of the coming days.
This comes with super agent Jorge Mendes understood to have offered wantaway Cristiano Ronaldo to the Partenopei.
Speaking to the media late on Friday, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of his client’s future, and specifically links to Man United, was put to Osimhen’s representative.
Instead, it has been assured that Osimhen’s full focus remains on developments at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, with the attacker looking forward to lining out for Luciano Spalletti’s troops on the grandest European stage this coming season.
