Serie A giants AC Milan have tabled an opening offer for a prominent member of the attacking setup at Chelsea, according to reports.
The Blues star in question? Christian Pulisic.
Ongoings between the respective powers that be at Chelsea and Milan have of course taken their place front and centre in the headlines across the week to date.
This comes after a lengthy saga ultimately culminated in the latter striking a deal, to bring Ruben Loftus-Cheek to San Siro with a view to next season.
If the latest word doing the rounds in the media on Sunday evening is anything to go by, however, then discussions between Milan and Chelsea remain in full swing.
This comes amid confirmation that the Rossoneri have stepped up their pursuit of the aforementioned Christian Pulisic.
Amid an ongoing search for reinforcements out wide, United States international Pulisic is understood to have been identified as a prime summer target on the part of the board at San Siro.
An opening offer for his signature, in turn, was tabled this weekend.
The proposal in question, however, coming in at €14 million, fell short of Chelsea’s valuation, according to The Athletic.
Significantly, it is also noted, though, that ‘Milan have an agreement in place with Pulisic’ himself.
