Are the BBC about to get going again?
There have been clear signs in recent days, that Real Madrid’s famed “BBC” strike force is about to get going again.
Cristiano Ronaldo has scored three goals in his past two matches, including just his second La Liga goal of the season against Malaga on Saturday.
Karim Benzema also claimed three goals against APOEL in the Champions League and Malaga on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Gareth Bale is expected to play his first game this week in the Copa del Rey, as he returns from a long injury absence due to a calf injury.
Will Real Madrid sign a Galactico next summer?
In recent seasons, partly due to a transfer ban and the big spending of others, Real Madrid have not signed a true “Galactico”.
That seems set to change next summer and could well be coloured by how well players do at the World Cup.
Nevertheless, the bookies are already thinking ahead as to which striker is most likely to supplement the BBC.
Or, most likely replace one of Karim Benzema or Gareth Bale…
