Trabzonspor think big
Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini is the subject of interest for Turkish side Trabzonspor.
In fact, they’re so smitten with the midfielder that Turkish site Takvim claims they’re preparing a video to convince him to come to Turkey. Apparently, it’s a method that they’ve used to coax players before.
It being the 50th year of their existence, Trabzonspor want to mark it with a big name.
Fellaini at United
They might have to spend big if they want to convince Jose Mourinho to sell a player he appears to have a soft spot for. Fellaini is entering the last year of his contract after a mixed season.
He joined the club under a cloud in 2013 during the ill-fated David Moyes era.
Unpopular with fans from the off, the big-haired Belgian has struggled to win them over during his four years at the club. Signed for an inflated £27.3m, United will be looking to recoup a large amount of that fee.
