Tottenham vs Wolves 101 Great Goals prediction: Tottenham 1-2 Wolves
Tottenham have shown big signs of missing both Harry Kane and Heung-min Son to injury.
Consecutive defeats and poor performances against RB Leipzig and Chelsea have left Jose Mourinho coming under fire.
Meanwhile, for Wolves, they continued their push for European qualification with a win over Norwich City.
The victory moves Nuno Espirito Santo’s side to within just two points off of fifth-placed Manchester United before the weekend games.
Tottenham vs Wolves betting tips: Who will win?
Spurs are at 13/20 to return to winning ways on Sunday with a victory at home.
The draw between the two sides is at 23/10 with Bet365.
Wolves beating Tottenham away for a second consecutive season is at 21/10.
Premier League preview: Tottenham vs Wolves
Following a last-gasp win over Aston Villa, things were starting to look up for Spurs.
However, having lost Son to injury and suffering defeats to Leipzig and Chelsea, Mourinho’s critics have since returned.
With Kane also sidelined, life without both of Spurs’ talismen has proven tricky for Mourinho.
Against Leipzig Lucas Moura led the line, whilst at Stamford Bridge, Steven Bergwijn was used in the role.
Neither player looked comfortable filling the role and Mourinho must now return to the drawing board.
Mourinho’s negative approach and defeatist attitude has also come under scrutiny following the Chelsea defeat.
During Saturday’s loss, Spurs effectively lined up with a flat back five and offered very little going forward.
After the defeat, Mourinho bemoaned his side missing a number of key players, including a striker.
In the meantime, he will have to find another way to paper the cracks in his squad with the club still hopeful of finishing in the top four.
Wolves aiming for Europe
Wolves have taken points off of Manchester United and Leicester City, along with a comfortable win over Norwich, to move them within contention of the European spots.
Just two points now separates them from fifth place – which could become a Champions League qualification spot.
On Sunday, they will be hoping to exact revenge on Spurs following their smash and grab win at Molineux back in December.
Nuno’s side travel to Spain on Thursday to take on Espanyol in the Europa League.
They will be looking to see out their 3-0 lead following their dominant display in the first-leg.
