Tottenham vs Olympiacos betting tips: Who will win?

Mourinho starting life at his new home, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with a win on Tuesday is at 2/7.

Olympiacos are at 9/1 to upset the Mourinho welcoming party.

Heung Min Son has scored plenty of important goals in recent months and could well be the man to get the opener here.

Champions League preview: Tottenham vs Olympiacos

Jose Mourinho’s arrival at Tottenham breathed a new lease of life into the players as they ended the club’s long wait for an away win.

Despite a late collapse, the Portuguese’s side looked impressive in attack, but it was clear that work on the defence is still required.

Harry Kane, Lucas Moura and Heung-min Son all managed to score at the London Stadium.

Mourinho will most certainly be delighted with his forward options for the remainder of the season.

Although, it was Dele Alli’s performance that impressed the most, with the 23-year-old showing signs of getting back to his best.

The midfielder produced wonderful movement, passing and silky flicks which he has become renowned for during his time at Spurs.

The new manager will hope to continue to help Alli return to his best following a tricky year.

Champions League review: Crvena zvezda 0-4 Tottenham

Tottenham can qualify for the Champions League knockout stages with a win

This is a big match for Tottenham and not just because it is Jose Mourinho’s first game in charge.

A win here would propel Tottenham into the Champions League knockout stages.

And, whilst their form this season has been poor, last year’s finalists now managed by Champions League specialist Jose Mourinho would be a daunting task for even some of the biggest teams in Europe.

Olympiakos are bottom of Group B with just one point and are playing for a Europa League third position now.

Crvena Zvezda could still theoretically catch Spurs, but all signs point to wins for Spurs and Bayern Munich on Tuesday evening to send both through in second and first respectively.

If that is the case, there would be nothing riding on the final game in the group when Tottenham travel to Munich to face Bayern, who savaged them 7-2 earlier in the group stages.

Olympiakos drew 2-2 with Tottenham at home. The Greek side came from two-down, either side of half-time.

Tottenham team news vs Olympiacos

Ben Davies is set to be replaced by Danny Rose at left-back after coming off injured against West Ham.

The Welsh defender suffered a muscular injury and is expected to miss Tuesday’s game.

Tanguy Ndombele and Jan Vertonghen are both in contention to be back in the squad but are unlikely to start.

Erik Lamela, Hugo Lloris and Michel Vorm will all miss the clash.
