Tottenham vs Norwich betting tips: Premier League match preview & predictions

Tottenham vs Norwich 101 Great Goals prediction: Tottenham 2-1 Norwich

Spurs are now without a win in four Premier League games, meaning José Mourinho’s side have dropped into 8th.

The north London club’s poor form over the Christmas period means they trail 4th-placed Chelsea by 8 points.

Meanwhile, Norwich City remain bottom of the league and six points from safety despite a win over Bournemouth last Saturday.

The Canaries managed to earn a draw against Spurs last month and were unfortunate not take all three points at Carrow Road.

Tottenham vs Norwich betting tips: Who will win?

Tottenham are overwhelming favourites to win this game at 2/5.

A draw is priced at 4/1. And, Norwich can be backed for a crucial, yet surprise win, at 13/2.

In the goal scorer market, four Spurs players (Lucas, Lamela, Son and Parrott) are all considered the most likely in terms of first goal scorer and anytime.

Norwich’s danger man Teemu Pukki can be backed to score the first goal at 13/2 and 7/4 anytime to notch.

Tottenham’s striker issues without Harry Kane are well-known. Perhaps this is a game where Lucas and Son can re-discover their goal scoring form at home.

Premier League preview: Tottenham vs Norwich

Tottenham looked toothless against Watford as they were held to a disappointing goalless draw at Vicarage Road.

With Harry Kane sidelined until at least April, Spurs are without a striker and against both Watford and Liverpool it was very obvious that this is an issue.

Heung-min Son and Lucas Moura can both slot in to replace Kane, but it is clear that both are wasted up front and a true number 9 is required.

Spurs have a week and a half to find an alternative and should be looking to use the money from the sale of Christian Eriksen to replace Kane.

Eriksen looks set to join Inter Milan this month with both clubs reportedly looking to complete a deal this week.

Tottenham will be hoping both Giovani Lo Celso and Gedson Fernandes will be able to fill the void the Dane will leave behind.

Lo Celso has impressed in spells since his arrival, but Mourinho will be hoping for some more consistent performances from the Argentine over the coming weeks.

Spurs need to find some better form and fast with Chelsea now holding an eight-point lead over them and three clubs above them in the race for fourth place.

Norwich remain rock bottom

The Canaries managed to claim a crucial three points on the weekend by defeating fellow strugglers Bournemouth 1-0.

Teemu Pukki got his name back on the scoresheet as he netted his 10th league goal this season.

The win saw them close the gap on 19th-placed Bournemouth to three points and moved them to within six of safety.

Daniel Farke will be hoping to produce a similar performance which saw them claim a point against Spurs last month.
