Spurs had been motoring Lookman during his time at Charlton.
The 19-year-old has struggled for game time during since his £11m arrival last January.
Limited game time
Lookman has so far this season only made four appearances for Everton and is yet to feature in the league.
During his debut season, he only managed eight appearances, despite scoring on his debut.
The teenager was a very impressive talent for Charlton but his career has so far stalled at Goodison Park.
The forward is having to compete with the likes of Ramirez, Rooney, Calvert-Lewin and Vlasic for a place in the starting eleven.
During his time in England, Mauricio pochettino has gained a very good reputation for developing young talent.
With the likes of Luke Shaw, Adam Lallana, Harry Kane, Danny Rose, Eric Dier and Dele Alli all paying testament to that.
This could, therefore, be a great move for Lookman as he looks to further his career.
Whereas Koeman hasn’t shown the faith, Pochettino may just be the man to provide Lookman with the platform he needs to perform.
Tottenham are said to be lining up a January move for him.
Huddersfield Town 0-4 Tottenham
It was yet another scintillating display from Tottenham Hotspur as they crushed Huddersfield 0-4.
For Tottenham, the win meant that they won their first four away games since the 1960/61 double-winning season.
Harry Kane continued his rich vein of scoring, netting a brace and making it 36 goals in 31 appearances in 2017.
Golas also from Ben Davies and Moussa Sissoko, his first for the club, more than doubled Huddersfield’s goals conceded tally for the season.
Spurs were excellent and demonstrated their top four credentials in what is expected to be a tough season given the Wembley factor.
