Tottenham & Depay
Memphis Depay joined French outfit Lyon in January of 2017 from Manchester United.
Lyon are believed to have paid around £14.4m for Depay’s services.
Since making the switch to France, Depay has featured on 130 occasions for the Ligue 1 side.
In those 130 games, the Dutch attacker has found the back of the net 50 times, and also provided 42 assists.
The 25-year-old has also hit the ground running in the 2019/20 campaign, scoring 11 and assisting one in 14 appearances for Lyon.
Now, after a solid start to the season, Depay is being linked with a return to the Premier League.
Depay had a fairly unsuccessful spell in the English top-flight with Manchester United.
Despite his past struggles in England, though, Tottenham are now, according to the Mirror, keen on the Lyon forward.
The Mirror claim that Spurs are ready to pay £50m for the former Man United man:
Tottenham are ready to make a £50million move for Manchester United flop Memphis Depay.
Tottenham 1-Sheffield United 1
Given Spurs’ recent league form, perhaps they would indeed be well served bringing in some fresh legs in the near future.
Tottenham’s latest outing saw them take on Sheffield United on Saturday.
Spurs did take the lead vs the Blades, but the tie eventually ended 1-1.

That result meant that Tottenham started Sunday 12th in the English top-flight, and, after Sunday’s 2 pm PL games, the north Londoners slipped down to 14th.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men are also currently 11 points adrift of 4th placed Manchester City, with their top-four hopes looking rather bleak.
