Leicester vs Tottenham

Tottenham travel to Leicester on Saturday as they look to continue their fine start to the season.

Heading into the weekend’s games Tottenham are 3rd in the Premier League.

They have played 15, drawn zero and lost four. However, they are just two points above 5th place Arsenal.

Arsenal are at home to Huddersfield this weekend, meaning they are very likely to pick up all three points.

So, Spurs need a win if they wish to stay above their North London rivals.

As for Leicester City, they come into this game 9th in the league.

The Foxes have not lost their last five Premier League games, however, they have drawn three of those, the latest of which a 1-1 draw vs 20th place Fulham.

A win for Leicester could see them move up to 6th and into a Europa League spot, while a win for Spurs would keep them 3rd.

Spurs injury update

Heading into the game with Leicester, Mauricio Pochettino has, on Friday, provided an injury update for Tottenham.

Kieran Trippier missed Spurs games vs Chelsea and Tottenham through a groin injury.

Trippier would return in Tottenham’s last game vs Southampton and play 87 minutes.

Now, however, it seems that injury has returned and is causing the full-back to miss Saturday night’s clash.

Tottenham also look set to be without young centre-back, Juan Foyth.

Foyth has featured a lot for Spurs this season with Pochettino a big fan of the Argentine.

However, Foyth is suffering from a hamstring problem that will keep him on the sidelines this week.
