Tottenham Hotspur are demanding around €12m for the signing of striker Vincent Janssen this summer with Turkish side Besiktas interested in a deal, according to Fotospor.
The striker endured a torrid time in England last season and was shipped out on loan to Turkey where he has been plying his trade with Fenerbahce this season.
Spurs are now seeking a permanent deal for the Dutch international and have been offering him around to various clubs.
Besiktas want Janssen
Janssen’s season at Fenerbahce looks to be over with the 23-year-old suffering an ankle fracture which he has been struggling with since December of last year.
Making just 12 appearances in all competitions this season for the Turkish club, it is clear to understand why Tottenham are so keen to offload the striker.
However, one club are understood to be showing strong interest in signing him – that being Besiktas – a side yet to find a replacement for Cenk Tosun who joined Everton last January.
Besiktas believe that the Tottenham forward fits their criteria of the type of player they hope to sign in the summer and are monitoring Janssen’s situation closely.
Tottenham in for Gomes
Gomes was one of the hottest talents in Spain during his time at Valencia, generating a huge amount of interest amongst Europe’s elite in gaining his signature.
With legendary midfielder Andres Iniesta entering the final years of his career, Barcelona were keen on signing a replacement with the Portuguese international being brought in to replace him.
However, having accumulated a combined total of just seven goals and assists over two seasons, the midfielder has swiftly fallen out of favour at the Nou Camp.
Both Tottenham and West Ham United are looking to take the midfielder away from Barcelona this summer.
