As per a report from Dutch outlet Nos, goalkeeper Michel Vorm has signed a contract with Tottenham until the end of the season.
Spurs’ struggles continue
Tottenham’s last Premier League outing saw the north Londoners travel to the Amex Stadium, for a meeting with Brighton.
The matchup came on the back of what many no doubt consider to be the most embarrassing result of the Mauricio Pochettino era, as Bayern Munich put 7 past the capital outfit in London 3 days prior.
As such, Spurs no doubt headed to Brighton desperate for a bounce-back display.
When the 90 minutes were said and done in East Sussex, however, things went from bad to worse for the Lilywhites.
The latest in a string of lacklustre showings saw Tottenham comprehensively punished, by 3 goals to nil.
Neal Maupay and Man of the Match Aaron Connolly (2) bagged the goals for Brighton, as Graham Potter’s men picked up just their 2nd win of the Premier League season.
An altogether miserable afternoon for Spurs, meanwhile, was compounded by Hugo Lloris picking up a serious injury.
With just 3 minutes on the clock, the French shot-stopper attempted to catch a deep cross to the back post, only to spill the ball into the path of the waiting Neal Maupay, who went on to put Brighton 1-0 up.
As Lloris connected with the ground, his arm bent gruesomely, in what, on initial viewing, looked certain to be diagnosed as at least one broken bone.
This, surprisingly, has since not proven to be the case, though the 32-year-old has nevertheless suffered ligament damage in his left arm.
As a result, Lloris is not expected to return to training until at least the end of the year.
Hugo Lloris has undergone further assessment this morning after sustaining a dislocated elbow in our match against Brighton on Saturday.

The World Cup winning shot-stopper’s injury is now expected to see 2nd-choice Paulo Gazzaniga step up to take over starting duties in Mauricio Pochettino’s squad.
Spurs, though, have today moved to add further cover to their ranks between the posts.
As per the aforementioned report from Nos, Michel Vorm has re-signed for the north Londoners.
Former Dutch international Vorm had plied his trade with Tottenham for the last 5 seasons, before the capital giants decided against renewing his contract over the summer.
But, amid their goalkeeping emergency, Spurs have today reportedly brought Vorm back, until the end of the campaign.
