Harry Kane’s partner Katie Goodland posted an eye0catching image on social media this week.

The Tottenham striker has erected his Christmas tree prior to Tuesday’s Champions League match at Barcelona.

The Kane tree is deck out in gold. There are golden ball, golden stars, while Kane has placed his Golden Boot at the top of the tree.

Of course, Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah won last season’s Golden Ball. The north African scored 32 goals in the Premier League in 36 games.

Tottenham’s Kane won the award the two years previous.

In the 2015-16 season, Kane topped the scoring charts with 25 goals in 38 games. In 2016-17 Kane scored 29 goals in 30 league games with Spurs.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side need to match Inter Milan’s result at the Sani Siro against PSV to progress out the group.

Kyle Walker-Peters faces the prospect of starting his just second game of the season – at the Nou Camp – against Barcelona.

With Serge Aurier and Kieran Trippier are both out ofthe match with injuries, so the 21-year-old is set to step up.

Erik Lamela could return from injury to travel to Spain.

Juan Foyth is sidelined, but also ineligible to play anyway having not been included in Pochettino’s squad

Tottenham will also remain without the trio of Mousa Dembele, Victor Wanyama and Davinson Sanchez.

Dembele, Wanyama and Sanchez are all expected to remain sidelined for the rest of the year.
