Crystal Palace vs Tottenham
Tottenham travelled to Crystal Palace on Sunday in the 4th round of the FA Cup.
Tottenham beat Tranmere Rovers 7-0 to progress to the 4th round while Crystal Palace beat Grimsby 1-0.
Spurs had already been knocked out of the League Cup by Chelsea earlier this week after losing on penalties.
So, they will have been keen to avoid going out of both domestic cups in the space of a week.
However, Spurs would have to face Palace without Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Heung-Min Son.
Kyle Walker-Peters’ mistake
Tottenham’s week would then go from bad to worse as a returning Connor Wickham put Palace 1-0 up inside nine minutes.
Kyle Walker-Peters would then make a huge error leading up to Palace’s second goal.
The ball was whipped into the Spurs box and Walker-Peters would decide to put his hand high in the air and handball it.
It was on obvious handball and an extremely poor piece of decision making by the young full-back.
Andros Townsend would then step up and convert the proceeding penalty.
After causing his side to go 2-0 down, Walker-Peters received a fair bit of stick on Twitter.
Walker-Peters with one of the most ridiculous handballs of all time.

Walker-Peters ends Tottenham’s chance of any trophy this season. What the fuck was he thinking?

But WTF was he doing Walker-Peter….Sunday League defending

Look I’m not a Kyle Walker-Peters expert. But when a kid keeps not getting played despite injuries ahead of him and then when he does play looks like he’s not good enough. One possible explanation is that he’s not that good.

I’ve backed Kyle Walker-Peters to get more games in a Spurs shirt however that it is nothing short than absolutely brainless defending.
