Tottenham & Dele Alli
Does Dele Alli have an anger management problem?
It’s worth remembering that Tottenham’s England international is still just 20-years-old.
However Alli’s reputation of being something of a hot-head continued on Saturday at Man City.
Man City beat Spurs 4-1 to maintain their stranglehold on the Premier League title race.
Raheem Sterling scored twice while Ilkay Gundogan and Kevin De Bruyne also found the target.
But away from the story of the goals in the game, Alli attracted plenty of criticism for two flare ups against the Sky Blues.

Alli vs Kevin De Bruyne
The Spurs midfielder courted plenty of attention after a foul on Kevin De Bruyne.
Alli went into the ref’s notebook after his mistimed a tackle on the Belgian star.
De Bruyne was lucky to avoid any serious injury as Alli landed on the City star’s ankle.
Stamp on Fernandinho
However, Alli is also being called out for stamping on City’s Brazilian midfielder Fernandinho.
That incident played out just before the halftime break.
Fernandinho was sent sprawling to the deck after a foul by Alli. The Spurs star pushed his opponent to the floor.
But once Fernandinho was lying on the grass, did the Tottenham star stamp on him?
It looked as if Alli placed his studs on the back of Fernandinho’s leg – twice!
Whether this issue will be flagged up by the FA remains to be seen.
