Tottenham, Chelsea & Man City stars have better assist stats than Leo Messi

On Wednesday night at Wembley, Tottenham host Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.

That will give Jadon Sancho the chance to shine at England’s national stadium.

Sancho has been a revelation since joining Dortmund last summer from Man City.

Unable to get into the City team, the young English talent has been one of BVB’s best players this season.

He has seven goals and nine assists in 21 Bundesliga appearances this season.

In fact, Jancho’s assist records are the best in Europe’s premier leagues.

In stats revealed by the Times, Jancho clocks an up assist once every 150.9 minutes.

Spurs, Chelsea & Man City stars vs Leo Messi

Looking further down the assist list in Europe’s top five leagues, Barcelona’s Leo Messi is only fifth in the standings.

Messi has 10 assists in the Spanish league. The Argentine creates a goal every 202 minutes.

Above Messi is Tottenham’s Christian Erisken. The Dane has nine Premier League assists, which tick over at a current rate of one every 188 minutes.

Chelsea’s Eden Hazard is third. The Belgian (10 league assists) creates a goal every 1700.7 minutes for the Blues.

Finally, Leroy Sane is the top Premier League representative in the assist chart. The Man City winger (9 assists) creates a goal every 160.7 minutes.
