There has been much talk over the future of Mauricio Pochettino at Spurs in the past and the man himself has had his say on the matter.
Thankfully for Spurs fans, it is extremely positive with the Argentine confirming that he is willing to stay at the club for the next 10-15 years.
The former Southampton boss has transformed the London side following his move from the South Coast and has been a revelation.
Pochettino has created a team that is able to compete at the highest level and is not just a one-man team, as they were under Gareth Bale.
With Harry Kane the star man, Spurs still have Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli and Son Heung-min behind him.
Not only that, they have one of the best defensive pairings in world football in Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld.
Now, Pochettino has revealed that he has no plans to leave the club despite interest from Barcelona over the summer.
“It’s impossible. I could not coach Barcelona, for many reasons we shouldn’t get deep into,” he explained.
“I am very happy in Tottenham.”
“I would love to stay 10 or 15 years here.”
“It’s always up to the owner or chairman to decide if you’re a manager for a short time or long period.”
“If he wants, I would like to sign that contract.”
