Arsenal vs Everton
Have Arsenal played a better 45 minutes this season?
In the first half on Saturday night against Everton, the Gunners looked like world beaters.
Everton were dead and buried after 19 minutes. Aaron Ramsey opened after a brilliant team move.
Laurent Koscielny doubled Arsenal’s lead with a header from a corner. Ramsey made it 3-nil with a long range deflected strike.
And before the break, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored on his Arsenal debut to make it 4-0 at the interval.

What happened to Nacho Monreal?
Everything looked so good for Arsenal after the first half.
Yet, as soon as the second period began, there were fears about Arsenal defender Nacho Monreal.
Monreal was subbed out the game at the interval for Sead Kolasinac. And when the substitution was reported on TV, many heard that Monreal had apparently picked up a “knock” in the game.
It’s unclear whether Monreal picked up a serious injury. Or, alternatively, with Arsenal cruising against Everton, Monreal was taken out the match as more of a precautionary measure.
Kolasinac on for Monreal who seems to have a bit of a knock. We need him healthy for the coming weeks, hope he can feature next weekend.

Tottenham vs Arsenal
Arsenal fans will be hoping Monreal is fit for next weekend’s biggy: the north London derby against Tottenham at Wembley.
Aside from his defensive duties, Monreal has been in superb scoring form for the Gunners this season.
Both Tottenham and Arsenal are looking to break into the top four to secure Champions League football next season.
Arsenal could also earn a place in next season’s UCL if they win this season’s Europa League.
