Tottenham’s poor form
Tottenham have had a horrendous start to their 2019/20 campaign, by their usual standards.
Mauricio Pochettino managed to guide his Spurs side all the way to the 2019 Champions League final last season.
However, despite having kept pretty much the same squad as last campaign, along with the addition of a few new faces, the north London outfit are really struggling for form.
Spurs have recently been eliminated from the League Cup by Colchester, smashed 7-2 by German powerhouse Bayern Munich in the Champions League and, to compound the club’s dismal start to the season, their most recent game saw them comprehensively beaten 3-0 by Brighton at the Amex.
Tottenham are also without an away league win since January of this year.

Mourinho keeping tabs on Spurs
With Tottenham in a bit of a rut under Pochettino, Jose Mourinho is said to be monitoring the situation.
Mourinho has not managed a club since he was sacked by Manchester United last December.
However, according to the Daily Mail, Spurs are among the clubs that appeal to Mourinho.
Real Madrid are also said to be a club that interest Mourinho, according to the report from the Mail.
The former Chelsea boss has spent some of his time out of managerial employment as a pundit for Sky Sports News.
