Georges-Kevin Nkoudou set to join Besiktas

Tottenham are set to sell winger Georges-Kevin Nkoudou to Turkish side Besiktas.

That’s according to French paper L’Equipe on Wednesday.

Tottenham signed Georges-Kevin Nkoudou in the summer of 2016.

When he moved to north London from Marseille, Nkoudou agreed a deal until 2021.

But Nkoudou has failed to cut it for Mauricio Pochettino. He’s never been able to lock down a first-team spot at Spurs, while he’s previously been loaned out to Burnley and AS Monaco.

Nkoudou was left out of Tottenham’s pre-season tour, in an effort to resolve the player’s current situation.

Finally, it looks like Nkoudou has found a new club to go to.

How much will Tottenham get for Nkoudou?

According to L’Equipe, Tottenham will sell 24-year-old Nkoudou for around 5 million euros.

Spurs are also set to secure a considerable sell-on percentage fee clause.

On the structure of the transfer fee, Turkish reporter Murat Özen claims that Besiktas will pay in two installments.

Firstly, four million euros up-front, plus a later one million euro payment.

As to the terms of Nkoudou’s future deal, he’s set to sign a 4-year contract with Besiktas.

Murat Özen adds that Nkoudou will earn 1.65 million euros a season in wages.

On the value of Tottenham’s future sell-on clause, it’s claimed that Spurs will earn 50% of any future transfer fee.
