Toby Alderweireld confirms his Tottenham career plans
There’s only four days remaining for clubs to buy Toby Alderweireld from Tottenham on the cheap.
Suitors are being encouraged to make their move for Alderweireld, as it’s common knowledge that the Belgian has a £25m release clause until July 26th, 2019.
Alderweireld, 30, is under contract with Spurs until next summer.
Alderweireld captain vs Juventus
On Sunday, Tottenham beat Juventus 3-2 in the International Champions Cup.
Harry Kane won the match for Spurs with an unbelievable goal from the halfway line in the final seconds of the game.

Interestingly, Mauricio Pochettino handed Alderweireld the captain’s armband at the start of the Juve game.
Was this a sign regarding the Belgian’s importance to the Lilywhites?
What Alderweireld said about his Spurs future
After the Juve game, Alderweireld spoke about his ongoing future at Tottenham.
The way Alderweireld spoke, it’s clear that the centre-half is planning to remain at Spurs this season. He said:
I’ve always said, I’m focused on Spurs and trying to deliver the job that I need to do.
In football, everything can go quick but my focus is on Spurs and to be ready for the start of the season.
The manager knows that I’m committed to the team and to the club. Today I was made captain which shows the manager’s trust in me.
“There’s no air to breathe!” – @AlderweireldTob is not fond of Singapore’s humidity but he believes in Mauricio Pochettino’s work at @SpursOfficial and has NO plans to leave the club this summer despite speculation linking him to other clubs. #COYS #ICCSG pic.twitter.com/pd0BOEDFms
