Michael Keane and Timo Werner -Germany vs England

Timo Werner unable to face Borussia Dortmund for incredible reason

Big blow

RB Leipzig’s star man Timo Werner has been ruled out for yet another game for a crazy reason as he did not travel to Borussia Dortmund.

That is because the player is not able to feature in games that have very loud fans due to a problem with his muscles.

The German goalscorer had to be substituted against Besiktas in the Champions League due to the noise that the home fans were producing.

There are now fears that the same issue will occur at Borussia Dortmund with their famous ‘Yellow Wall’ known for their noise.

Though the player was ridiculed by some football fans for his issue on social media, it has come to light just what the reason behind it is.

When you look into it, it is just an extremely unfortunate condition and there really isn’t much Werner can do about it.

Reports explain that the player suffers from a blockage in the muscles of the cervical spine and the temporomandibular joint.

While that is jibberish to many, the important thing to note is that the stress factor is loud noise which can exacerbate such discomfort.

Since the last incident that came against Besiktas, the extremely prolific forward has not played a game but has trained with the club.

Injury problems for Dortmund

While the German giants sit top of the Bundesliga table, it’s not been plain sailing for the side.

That is because they continue to suffer huge injury setbacks week after week.

Now, going into the Leipzig game, they have suffered yet another massive blow.

Find out which Dortmund star is out injured here.
