Chelsea vs Manchester United

Chelsea’s next two games, Manchester United at home on Sunday and Liverpool away on Thursday could go some way to defining where they finish in the Premier League table and the impact Thomas Tuchel has made at the club.

Speaking on the task of facing Manchester United, who remain unbeaten away, he is under no illusions as to what his team can expect to face.

He also spoke of the importance of the match with the Red Devils, noting that a win would be huge for either side in the race for the Champions League spots. Manchester United who are in second place currently sit six points clear of Chelsea, who are in fifth.

Thomas Tuchel confirmed that Thiago Silva is still out of contention after limping off against Spurs back at the start of February and that there are no other notable absences.

With an almost full squad to choose from and with Olivier Giroud pushing for a starting place following his wonder goal in the Champions League victory over Atletico Madrid midweek, Tuchel will be hoping Stamford Bridge offers home comforts on Sunday.
