Sunderland manager David Moyes has been given a one-match ban by the FA for swearing at a match official.
Moyes was sent off in last week’s 1-0 defeat to Southampton in the EFL Cup for the offence.
The former Manchester United manager will have to watch from the stands when his Sunderland side face Bournemouth on Saturday.
Sunderland are rooted to the bottom of the Premier League on 2 points, having lost 8 of their 10 matches so far.
Jose Mourinho could face similar disciplinary action from the FA after the Man United boss was hit with his second charge in the space of a week.
Man United’s next two domestic fixtures are against Swansea and Arsenal. Mourinho will certainly not want to miss out on the latter.
