The worst seat in Tottenham’s new stadium is found

Tottenham’s new stadium finally opens

After what seems like an age, Tottenham’s new stadium finally hosted its first match on Sunday, March 24th.

Spurs under-18s were the first Tottenham side to play on the pitch as they took on Southampton’s under-18s.

The game would finish 3-1 thanks to two first-half goals and a 77th-minute strike

After the under-18 tie, Spurs new Stadium will host a Tottenham vs Inter Milan legend match on March 30th.

If there are no problems found with the stadium after the legends game, Spurs first-team is expected to host Crystal Palace there on April 3rd.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has also had his say on the stadium finally opening:

“It’s our new house and when we start to feel that it’s our home it’s going to be magic. I was talking to Daniel before, it’s one of the
best in the world.

“When we start to feel it’s our home, it’s going to be unbelievable. I really feel the future of the club is going to be fantastic.”As quoted by the Evening Standard.

The worst seat in the stadium

The new stadium cost Tottenham somewhere in the region of £1b.

The grand opening has gone down very well with many Spurs fans.

However, one Spurs fan appears to have been given the worst seat possible.

The fan posted an image of his view from a seat in the new stadium, most of which is blocked off.

A few fans having an obstructed view due to a pole or something similar is quite common in football stadiums.

However, if you have just spent around £1b on a brand new state of the art stadium, you would think fans would at least be able to see the full pitch from their seat.
