West Brom vs West Ham

West Ham will return to action on Wednesday evening, when they face a trip to West Brom.

The Baggies of course have nothing left to play for this season, having already been relegated back to the Championship earlier this month.

That, though, did not stop Sam Allardyce’s men putting up a fight, and nearly coming away with a point vs Liverpool last time out.

West Ham, on the other hand, really need to pick up maximum points from their final two games of the season.

A recent dip in form, which has seen them pick up just one win in five, means David Moyes’ side have slipped out of the top-six, and down to 7th.

The Hammers, though, sit behind 6th placed Tottenham only on goal difference, with a Europa League finish still very much on the cards.

David Moyes provides the latest West Ham team news

Ahead of Wednesday’s game, meanwhile, David Moyes spoke to the media this afternoon.

When doing so, the West Ham boss discussed a number of topics, including his side’s recent draw with Brighton:

“We played very well and it was just a day where we didn’t score the chance. I was very positive with a lot of things we had done.”

The Scotsman also provided a brief yet positive team news update, explaining:

“We still have a problem with Manuel Lanzini, but most of the squad are okay.”
