The latest on Rodriguez, Pickford & more ahead of Everton vs Crystal Palace

Everton vs Crystal Palace

This game week’s Premier League action draws to a close on Monday evening.

One of the ties taking place that day will see Everton and Crystal Palace go head-to-head.

Sitting in 12th place with 37 points from 29 games, Palace have little to play for in the remainder of the campaign.

Everton, on the other hand, are still very much in the fight for European football as we enter the business end of the season.

The Toffees are currently 8th in the Premier League table, which is of course not a Europa League place.

However, the Merseysiders do have a game in hand on all the sides above them, which could potentially see them move as high as 5th should they win it.

But Everton will need to turn their form around if they wish to finish in the top six or seven, having lost their previous two outings to Chelsea and Burnley.

Everton team news

When doing so, the Italian provided updates on a number of players.

Firstly, both Tom Davies and Ben Godfrey are set to be available on Monday, as is Rob Olsen. However, Jordan Pickford is still sidelined:

Elsewhere, Fabian Delph and Bernard will not be featuring against Palace

The Everton boss then had this to say on James Rodriguez:
