Players from the Israeli national team have been praised for looking after their mascots prior to their clash with Scotland.
In cold and wet conditions at Hampden Park, Israel players offered their jackets to their young mascots.
Andreas Herzog’s side crashed to a 3-2 defeat in the UEFA Nations League with James Forrest netting a hat-trick for the hosts.

Football fans have taken to social media to praise the players from Israel for their kind gesture.
The players appear to start offering the kids their jackets as they stand there shivering during the national anthems.
