Swansea’s incedible revival since Carlos Carvalhal’s arrival

The string of results which Swansea have managed to pull together following the arrival of Carlos Carvalhal at the club in December is going viral online tonight, following the Swans’ demolition of Notts County in the FA Cup.

The Welsh outfit welcomed League Two side County to the Liberty Stadium for a replay of their 4th round FA Cup clash, after the sides played out a 1-1 draw at Meadow Lane two weekends ago.

However, while the impressive performance of Kevin Nolan’s men on that day no doubt sent the visitors into tonight’s tie full of confidence, a scintillating display from Swansea simply blew the Magpies out of the water, with goals from Tammy Abraham and Nathan Dyer (2) within the opening half-hour having put the game to bed before the underdogs had even got out of the blocks.

Noor Husin did manage to pull one back for the away side before the break, but, in the end, the strike proved to be the merest of consolations, as Swansea went on to run riot in the second-half, eventually emerging as 8-1 winners.

The result, while hugely impressive in itself, was just the latest in a string of brilliant performances on the part of the Swans over the last 6 weeks.

Having picked up just 1 win from their preceding 13 fixtures prior to the arrival of former Sheffield Wednesday boss Carlos Carvalhal at the club on the 28th of December, the Welsh outfit have since earned 5 victories (including vs Arsenal and Liverpool) and 4 draws from their last 10 outings, a truly remarkable turnaround:
