David Moyes & Man United

He’s back in English football!

David Moyes has today met the press at the Stadium of Light after he recently replaced Sam Allardyce as the new Sunderland boss.

With less than two weeks to go before the season starts, the Black Cats appear to be facing another difficult campaign in which they’ll battle against the drop.

Sunderland could do with some new players to come in to boost their ranks, and Moyes admitted on Monday that he’s looking at two Manchester United players.

Fellaini & Januzaj

David Moyes has confirmed his interest in Manchester United players Marouane Fellaini and Adnan Januzaj. The Scot told the press:

If any of those good players want to join me I’d be happy to have them.

They’re excellent players. We’re interested but I’m sure there’s a load of other clubs that are as well. We’re interested in lots of good players. You have to have a realistic view. There’ll be some players we can attract just now and some players we can’t.

On Sunday, the Manchester Evening News reported that Januzaj may leave Old Trafford if United receive a bid to take the player off their hands.
