Getting the band back together
Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard has submitted £4million bid for one of his former teammates as he looks to bring a new era to Rangers.
The former Anfield youth coach decided to kickstart his managerial career when he was offered a job by the Scottish giants.
While some suggested that it would take a miracle job for the aspiring boss to overthrow Celtic, his road to do exactly that has started.
Now, his success next season largely depends on him making the squad his own and implementing his ideas.
While it was joked that Gerrard could start to get the band back together, it looks as if it could become a reality.
That is because Rangers have launched a £4million bid for Fenerbahce defender Martin Skrtel according to Turkish outlet Sabah.
The Slovakian defender made 242 appearances for the club between 2008 and 2016 and certainly impressed during his time at Anfield.
Though, he left the club for Turkey and could now be on his way back to Britain with Rangers.
His decision to make
Skrtel is set to play in the final game of the season for his current side which could hand them the title.
Though, the Scotsman has revealed that Fenerbahce’s hierarchy have told the player that if he wants to leave, they won’t stop him.
That means that the game could be his final for the club if he does decide to join up with Steven Gerrard yet again.
He could certainly get the Steven Gerrard era off to a positive start.
