England dominate Montenegro
England played host to Montenegro on Thursday evening, as they looked to clinch Euro 2020 qualification.
The Three Lions needed just one point to secure qualification, and three points to top Group A.
Gareth Southgate’s men managed the latter with a 7-0 drubbing of a poor Montenegro side.
The in-form Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain opened the scoring for England with just over 10 minutes on the clock.
England then put another four past Montenegro in the first 45, which included a Harry Kane hat-trick.
The goals slowed down a bit after the interval, with England bagging two more to finish the tie with seven goals.

But what should have been a joyous evening was marred somewhat in the second-half, when Joe Gomez came on.
Earlier in the week, Raheem Sterling and Joe Gomez had a bit of a bust-up in England training, with tempers still high after the pair faced off with their respective clubs this past Sunday.
As a result of the incident, Sterling was dropped vs Montenegro.

Yet when Gomez was brought on vs Montenegro, it sounded as though some fans were booing the Liverpool defender.

Sterling has since spoken out about fans booing Gomez, condemning their actions:
especially after a difficult week for him to be booed when he came on tonight was wrong.
I’ve taken full responsibility and accepted the consequence.
I felt as though I had to say this get home safe every one #Euro2020
