On the same day that Christian Eriksen indicated he’d like to leave Tottenham this summer, the Portuguese press have linked Sporting CP’s Bruno Fernandes to Spurs.

The Bruno Fernandes to Tottenham story originally came out in Wednesday’s edition of A Bola.

Did A Bola have an inside track on Eriksen’s exit intentions?

Interestingly, it’s been confirmed that Eriksen told Tottenham of his thoughts regarding a possible summer exit ten days before the Champions League final defeat to Liverpool.

Moving onto the race to sign Sporting CP and Portugal star Bruno Fernandes, A Bola note that Tottenham aren’t the only club in the running for the midfielder.

Manchester United are listed as rivals to Tottenham.

Indeed, it’s claimed that Man United would pay anywhere between £62 and £72 million to sign Fernandes.

In addition, A Bola name-drop Atletico Madrid and Man City as possible suitors for the 24-year-old.

Fernandes is in demand this summer, after scoring 31 goals across all competitions for Sporting in 2018-19.
