Southampton troll Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp
Southampton have had a laugh at the expense of Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp in their announcement video for Che Adams.
The Saints revealed the Adams deal in an animated video.
The tag-line to the video was “Welcome aboard the Ralph Express”.
During the cartoon, Liverpool manager Klopp was inserted in an airplane.
Klopp was seen scouting Southampton’s squad with a pair of binoculars.
Of course, Liverpool have a long history of signing players from Southampton.
Recent seasons have seen Sadio Mane, Dejan Lovren, Adam Lallana, Nathaniel Clyne and Rickie Lambert all leave the south coast to switch to Anfield.

Che Adams celebrates his Southampton move
Speaking to the Southampton website, Che Adams said the following:
I’m delighted. There was interest in January, when it didn’t quite happen, but I’m happy now that it’s all gone through.
You can see with the track history – the amount of young players they’re playing, the gaffer’s belief in the young players, the squad in itself – where the club is going to be. I want to be part of that.
