South Africa vs Morocco live streaming: Match preview

It’s been a flawless campaign for Morocco so far.

Will the 1976 African Champions secure top spot in Group D?

The Atlas Lions needed an 89th minute own goal to beat Namibia on matchday one.

But, they stepped it up on Friday against Côte d’Ivoire.

Nordin Amrabat’s superb run and finish found Youssef En-Nesyri who cooly slotted home with 23 minutes on the clock.

Hervé Renard’s side were dominant in that one and got another 1-0 win, this time over a fellow African giant.

They have now booked their place in the round of 16 and need just a draw to ensure they win the group.

South Africa meanwhile have reignited their hopes of too making it through.

Bafana Bafana kicked off with a narrow 1-0 defeat to Côte d’Ivoire so had to beat Namibia on Friday night.

Stuart Baxter’s side were the better team throughout and eventually got the breakthrough late on.

Percy Tau’s corner found Bongani Zungu who could not miss from close range; that goals means all four matches in Group D have finished 1-0.

The three points South Africa currently have could see them go through as one of the best ranked third-placed teams.

However, a draw or even a win here would assure them of a place in the next round.

Can they upset the odds and get a result in Cairo?
