Harry Kane ravages Liverpool

Tottenham produced another statement performance on Sunday as they eased past Liverpool with one of their best displays of the season.

Spurs had the game wrapped up in 12 minutes thanks to goals from Harry Kane and Heung Min Son.

Liverpool worked their way back into the match with a goal from Mohamed Salah.

But, Tottenham’s regained the two-goal advantage thanks to some more poor Liverpool defending, with Dele Alli volleying home.

In the second half, Spurs continued to hit Liverpool on the break and Kane scored again from a corner 11 minutes after the break.

Kane described the importance of a “fast start” and Son hailed the “performance”.

The South Korean star also said: “The early goal was very important from this monster”.

If things continue in their current direction, there will be more and more footballers and pundits describing Harry Kane as a “monster”.

Despite failing to score in the month of August, Kane is now the top goal scorer in the Premier League with eight goals.
