Man United need to rebuild

Manchester United had an awful 2018/19 campaign under both Jose Mourinho and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Red Devils would finish the season in a dismal 6th place, four places lower than the previous campaign.

As well as missing out on a Champions League place, United also conceded 54 goals in 38 league outings. This marked their most-ever goals conceded in a single Premier League campaign.

Man United would also keep just two clean sheets at Old Trafford in the league. This stood as their lowest total in a top-flight season since the 1962-63 campaign.

After such a mediocre season, it is quite clear that United need to start rebuilding if they want to get back to their glory days.

OGS wants all signings done by July 1st

According to the Evening Standard, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to begin the rebuild this summer with as many as five signings.

The report from the Standard also states that Solskjaer wants all of United’s transfer business wrapped up by July 1st.

OGS wants this done in order to give his squad more time to gel over pre-season.

Man United have already been linked with a host of names this summer, including Jadon SanchoJoao Felix and Kalidou Koulibaly.
