Wolves vs Manchester United
Wolves and Man United will go head-to-head this coming Saturday in the quarter-final of the FA Cup.
To get this far Manchester United beat Reading 2-0 in the 3rd round, Arsenal 3-1 in the 4th round and Chelsea 2-0 in the 5th round.
As for Wolves, they beat Liverpool 2-1 in the 3rd round, Shrewsbury 3-2 in a 4th round replay and Bristol City 1-0 in the 5th round.
Also, given Man City are the only other ‘top six’ club left in the FA Cup, you would fancy whoever wins this game making it to this year’s final.
Man United injury update
Man United had been on a superb run of form under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. But that run came to an end vs Arsenal on Sunday.
United were able to welcome back both Nemanja Matic and Anthony Martial from injury vs the Gunners, Martial coming off the bench.
However, the Red Devils were still without several key players including Jesse Lingard, Ander Herrera and Juan Mata.
But Solskjaer is hopeful of having some of his key men back in time to face Wolves.
If not, OGS expects them to be back after the international break:
“They are coming back, maybe for Wolves.
“But after the international break we’ll have a full squad fit and the ones who’ve come in when the regulars have been injured have done really well. We’ll be ready for that.”
Injury problems beginning to ease. “They are coming back, maybe for Wolves,” said OGS. “But after the international break we’ll have a full squad fit and the ones who’ve come in when the regulars have been injured have done really well. We’ll be ready for that.” #MUFC
