United’s form has been rather poor of late, with their latest outing having seen the Red Devils comprehensively beaten by bitter rivals Manchester City in the League Cup.
The Manchester powerhouse have also been struggling in the league, with their last Premier League clash a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Arsenal.
However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and co should be able to get back to winning ways this weekend.
Norwich head into the weekend’s action sat dead bottom of the English top-flight.
The Canaries have the worst defensive record in the PL so far this term, and it is hard to see anything other than a Man United victory from this tie.
Solskjaer on Maguire
Solskjaer would hold his pre-Norwich press conference on Friday, in which the Norwegian provided an update on Harry Maguire.
Maguire would miss United’s defeat at the hands of City due to injury.

And in the aftermath of the City defeat, the Telegraph reported that Maguire had suffered a torn hip muscle, and could face ‘a sustained spell on the sidelines’.
This would have been a huge blow for Man United, as Maguire is arguably their best central defender.
However, when speaking about the towering centre-half on Friday, OGS stated that the England international has got a chance to feature on Saturday:
“He’s got a chance of tomorrow so we’ll give him today training and see if he gets through that one because it wasn’t a bad one. We’ll see tomorrow.” As quoted by Manchester United’s official website.
Solskjaer then spoke about Jesse Lingard, Eric Baily and Timothy Fosu-Mensah:
“Jesse’s illness has got worse and so he won’t be available.
“Apart from that, we’re getting players back. Eric and Tim are going to play in the Reserves tonight. It’s positive for them and they’ve been waiting for a long time, training for a while now, and it’ll be good to see them in a proper kit.” As quoted by Manchester United’s official website.
