Manchester United fighting for fourth spot

After drawing 1-1 with Chelsea last weekend, Manchester United’s Champions League hopes have taken a bit of a hit.

However, it is still mathematically possible for United to finish 4th.

With every Premier League side having two games left to play, United are three points behind Chelsea.

Man United will play Huddersfield away this weekend and Cardiff at home on the final day of the season.

Chelsea, on the other hand, play Watford and then Leicester.

United must also hope 5th-placed Arsenal drop points against Brighton and Burnley.

Man United injury update

Heading into his side’s clash with 20th-placed Huddersfield, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has provided an injury update on his squad:

“We’ve got a few niggles and injuries, still got two days – today and tomorrow to see who gets on the pitch.

“It’s been a strange week – no midweek games, no midweek press conference, but it’s a week we needed because we were disappointed after the result v Chelsea”

Romelu Lukaku is a major doubt for the rest of the season due to a hamstring problem.

Marcus Rashford, Chris Smalling and Jesse Lingard, on the other hand, will be assessed closer to the game.
