Will any of the three be fit to face Man City?
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has given an injury update on Harry Maguire, Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka before the Manchester derby.
The Red Devils have been in pretty good form of late, which will give them some confidence going into the game against rivals Manchester City.
However, United have suffered multiple injuries in the lead-up to this game.
Harry Maguire missed the clash with Derby in the FA Cup on Thursday due to injury.
Solskjaer revealed after the game that Maguire had rolled his ankle in training.
Daniel James missed both that game and the clash with Everton last weekend due to injury.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka also suffered a back injury during the game at Goodison.
Now, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has given an update on all three players before the Manchester derby.
Maguire ‘touch and go’ as James and Wan-Bissaka miss training
Speaking ahead of the clash with Manchester City, Solskjaer revealed that neither Aaron Wan-Bissaka or Daniel James have returned to training yet.
“I hope so, yes, but none of them have been training yet since the last game, so we’ve got to look at them on Saturday probably because tomorrow is a recovery day,” Ole explained, as quoted by the Manchester United website.
Solskjaer than admitted that Maguire is ‘touch and go’ for the game.
“Well, he’s touch and go because he rolled his ankle but hopefully he’ll recover quickly,” he continued.
“I wasn’t going to rest him today, I didn’t give him a day off birthday-wise but I hope he’ll be fit.”
