Yacine Adli reacts to Arsenal u-turn rumours

Arsenal & PSG’s Yacine Adli

Last week RMC Sport claimed it was a done deal.

According to reports, Arsenal have completed the signing of 17-year-old Yacine Adli from PSG.

Neither Arsenal nor PSG have confirmed the Yacine Adli transfer.

Nevertheless, RMC Sport claimed to have the terms of the deal announced that Adli has signed a three-year contract with the Gunners.

Rumour: Yacine Adli’s u-turn

So why hasn’t the Adli deal been confirmed by the clubs?

Could it be that the teenager has turned his back on an Arsenal move?

On Sunday night RMC Sport muddied the waters. They claimed that Adli, who is reportedly in London already, may be ready to change his mind on his Gunners move.

It’s obvious that RMC’s latest Yacine Adli update was read by the player himself.

On Sunday night Adli updated his Instagram Stories to rubbish the latest RMC updates.

Adli revealed that he is still in France, and not in London as claimed.

He added the message “you have no idea what you’re on about”, as he appeared to consign the Arsenal u-turn rumours to the trash can.

Who is Yacine Adli?

Adli is 17 years old and has been highly praised by many people, as well as being one of PSG’s best academy players. Adli is an attacking midfielder who can also drop back to play centre midfield.

The young Frenchman has impressed throughout his time at PSG’s academy, including last season where he was one of PSG’s best players in the UEFA Youth League.

Adli’s excellent displays for PSG’s academy have also earned him call-ups for France at U16, U17 and U18 level.

While playing for France Adli has scored 13 goals in 23 appearances, a very impressive record for an attacking midfielder.
