Tony Pulis at Wolves v Barnsley

Wolves v Barnsley: Why was Tony Pulis in attendance?

Wolves 2 – Barnsley 1

It was another super weekend for Wolves.

Wolves beat Barnsley 2-1 at Molineux on Saturday as they maintained their position at the top of the Championship.

Wolves have 20 points on the board after nine matches this season.

They are second in the table, behind Leeds on goal difference, but ahead of Cardiff on goal difference.

All the action on Saturday came in the final ten minutes of the game.

Bright Enobakhare put Wolves ahead in the 80th minute, but Barnsley thought they’d snatched a point when Adam Jackson scored in the 91st minute.

Alfred N’Diaye scored a stoppage-time winner for Wolves in a dramatic finale.

Arsenal v West Brom

On Monday night, West Brom travel to Arsenal in the Premier League.

Arsenal will be looking to build on last weekend’s encouraging draw at Champions Chelsea.

West Brom are without a win in their last four and will find things difficult against an Arsenal side who have won four out of four at the Emirates this season.

Ahead of that game, West Brom boss Tony Pulis was spotted at the Wolves-Barnsley match over the weekend.

Why was Pulis in attendance?

Could the Baggies boss have been on a scouting mission? Or maybe he just wanted to see two exciting teams in action?

Fans took to social media to react to the sighting.
