When Thibaut Courtois trolled Real Madrid
A video is now doing the rounds of social media aimed at embarrassing Real Madrid’s new keeper.
Prior to signing for Los Blancos, Thibaut Courtois played two seasons on loan at Atletico Madrid.
Indeed, Courtois forged his reputation at Atleti as he won a raft of trophies.
The Belgian won the 2013-14 La Liga title with the Rojiblancos.
He also won the Copa del Rey in 2013, the Europa League in 2012, while he won a Champions League runners-up medal in 2014
Some Atletico fans are unhappy that Courtois will now play for their rivals.
One account has sought to shame Courtois by reminding people of the time he swore about Real Madrid in public.
Durning an Atletico celebration party, Courtois took the mic to shout the following.
Hey @thibautcourtois just a little reminder of that time you stood on the Madrid town hall balcony and told Real fans to “f*** themselves up the ***”. Thought you’d like to remember it. 🐭🐁🐀#Courtois https://t.co/2zabowOcwc
