Brighton 3 – West Ham 1
After Saturday’s result both West Ham and Brighton are just three points off the bottom three.
Could they o down? For sure, no doubt.
And if you were looking at which of the sides is more likely to tank, there’s good reason to think it’s West Ham.
David Moyes has a huge injury crisis at the Hammers, and the Irons didn’t seem to do enough business in the transfer window.
On the pitch at Brighton, West Ham didn’t do much either.
The hosts took the lead in the first half through Glenn Murray.
West Ham levelled with a moment of magic from Mexican striker Javier Hernandez.
Jose Izquierdo put Brighton back in the lead with a superb striker just before the hour. And Pascal Gross made it 3-1 with 15 minutes to go with another superb strike.
West Ham fans meltdown
After the game, West Ham Fan TV recorded some incredibly angry interviews with supporters.
On March 10, in the home match against Burnley, a West Ham fans’ protest is being organised.
The protest is aimed at David Gold, David Sullivan and Karren Brady. Fans want the owners and their people out the club.
During the interviews, the Hammers fans released their frustrations and anger at the performances on the pitch and the actions in the boardroom.
It’s clear that the West Ham fans believe their at breaking point.
